Terms & Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and Future Pro Scout for the use of our mobile app. They cover who may open an account, how a guardian approves a player under 18, what a measurement is and is not, and what each of us is responsible for.

1.About these terms

Future Pro Scout has not been released yet. These terms apply from the day the app is available to download, and to every use of it from that day on.

These terms are an agreement between you and Future Pro Scout (“we”, “us”, “our”), based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They govern the Future Pro Scout mobile app on iOS and Android, and everything you do inside it.

Future Pro Scout is a mobile app. There is no web application: this website describes the product, and you cannot open an account, record a drill or see a result on it.

By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. If you are approving a child’s account as their guardian, you accept them for yourself and on that child’s behalf. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

Where a section applies to one role only, such as a player, a guardian, a coach or an academy, it says so. Everything else applies to everyone.

2.Definitions

These words carry the same meaning everywhere in this document.

  • Player: a person with a player account, who records drills and holds the results.
  • Guardian: the parent or legal guardian a player under 18 names at sign-up, who signs in with that phone number and then approves, supervises or blocks that account.
  • Coach: an individual account holder who has accepted an academy’s invitation and works with the age groups that academy assigned.
  • Academy: a club or training academy, verified against its commercial registration and its sporting licence, that manages coaches and players in the app.
  • Admin: our staff, who run the platform: verification, drills and content, campaigns, plans, moderation and the audit log.
  • Drill: one exercise in the library, with a written protocol that says how it is performed and how it must be filmed.
  • Attempt: one recording of one drill by one player, uploaded for measurement.
  • Result: what an attempt becomes: scored, or rejected with a reason.
  • Rating: a number built from a player’s scores: one overall, and one for each attribute.
  • Score: the number out of 100 the app gives a measured value, on one scale for every drill.
  • Content: anything you put into the app: videos, profile details, measurements, documents and notes.

3.Eligibility and age

A player account is for a person aged 7 to 19. We do not accept a player below or above that range, and a date of birth outside it stops the sign-up.

A player under 18 must name a parent or legal guardian, and the account stays locked until that guardian signs in and approves it. The section on guardian consent below sets out how that works.

By creating a guardian, coach or academy account you confirm that you are 18 or over, that the details you give are true, and, for an academy, that you are authorised to enter these terms on its behalf.

We may ask for evidence of age, identity or authority at any point, and may lock an account until we receive it.

4.Accounts and sign-in

You sign in with a phone number and a one-time code sent to it. There are no passwords, no email sign-in and no social sign-in.

That design has consequences you should plan for:

  • one phone number is one account with one role, so the same number cannot hold a player account and a coach account;
  • anyone holding your number or your unlocked phone can receive your code, so keep both secure and keep a screen lock on;
  • never share a code, and never let anyone else sign in as you: not a friend, not a coach, not an academy;
  • tell us at support@futureproscout.com as soon as you think someone else can reach your account.

If you are changing your phone number, write to us before you give the old one up, so the account can be moved. If you have already lost it, write to us all the same: we will ask you to prove the account is yours, and for a player under 18 we will ask the guardian as well. A number that has already been reassigned to a different person cannot be used to recover an account.

You are responsible for what is done under your account while you control the number and the device.

6.Academies and coaches

An academy applies with its commercial registration and its sporting licence. An admin checks both before the account is verified. We may refuse verification, and we may revoke it if the documents turn out to be wrong or expire.

A verified academy gets a free trial of 30 days, and subscribes in the app to carry on after it.

A coach signs up alone, and joins an academy only by accepting that academy’s invitation in the app. The academy assigns the age groups that coach can see, within the standard U8 to U20 bands, and that assignment is the whole of the coach’s access. A coach sees nothing outside it.

While the relationship lasts:

  • the academy is responsible for the people it invites and for what they do with the players under its roof;
  • a coach may run sessions, record attendance, write notes, recommend drills and evaluate the drills the AI does not measure;
  • a coach can never change, override or delete a result the AI produced;
  • either side may end the relationship at any time, and the coach’s access to that academy’s players ends with it.

If an academy’s subscription ends or its verification is revoked, its access to the academy features ends. Players keep their own accounts, their attempts and their results.

7.Joining an academy

The player starts it. A player browses the verified academies and sends a request; the academy accepts or declines.

If the player is under 18, the guardian receives the same request and must approve it too. Membership begins only when the academy and the guardian have both said yes.

A player belongs to one academy at a time. To move, leave the current academy first.

While a player is a member:

  • the academy, and the coaches assigned to that player’s age group, can see the player’s profile, attempts, videos, results and ratings;
  • the player and their guardian see exactly the same;
  • the player or the guardian may leave at any time, and the academy may remove a player at any time;
  • when membership ends, the academy’s access to that player ends, and the results stay with the player.

8.Sessions and attendance

An academy or a coach creates a session: a date, a time, a place, a description, the drills it covers, and whether there is a game.

Invited players confirm attendance or decline with a reason. Players under 18 answer the same way, and their guardian can see both the invitation and the answer.

The coach marks the roster present, late or absent by hand. Attendance is a record of participation only: it is never part of a measurement and it never changes a rating.

A session in the app is a plan and a record, not supervision. The ground, the equipment, the coaching and the safety of the players at a session are the academy’s and the coach’s responsibility, not ours.

9.Recording and uploading attempts

A player records one attempt of one drill on their own phone, using the framing guide and the countdown in the app, and uploads it for measurement.

Every attempt must follow the protocol the app shows before recording:

  • one player performing, and it must be the player whose account it is;
  • the camera placed, and the distances and markers set, as the protocol says;
  • filmed in a single take, within the maximum length the app allows;
  • filmed in enough daylight or floodlight for the movement to be visible;
  • filmed with the equipment the drill names.

If anyone else appears in a recording, you must have their permission to film them, and their guardian’s permission if they are under 18. Do not film in a place where filming is not allowed.

Do not upload anyone else’s attempt to your account, and do not upload a recording of another person as your own. One account, one player, one body being measured.

10.How results work, and what they mean

The AI measures what the video shows. Every attempt ends in exactly one of two states: scored or rejected. Nothing lands in between, and nothing is estimated from a movement the video did not capture.

A scored attempt returns three things, and they belong together:

  • the raw value, in the drill’s own unit;
  • a score out of 100;
  • a confidence or margin-of-error figure, which is part of the result and should never be read away from it.

A rejected attempt returns a specific reason, such as framing, light or a missed protocol step, and no value. Nothing is recorded against the player’s ratings, and the player can record again.

Results arrive within minutes of the upload. Measurement is not live: nothing is scored while the player is still recording.

A result measures one attempt, in the conditions it was filmed in, on the day it was filmed. Surface, footwear, weather, fatigue and camera placement all move a number. A single attempt is not a fixed statement of a player’s ability.

Some of the 32 drills are not measured by the AI in this version. They are recorded and evaluated by a coach, and the app labels them so you always know which kind of result you are reading. Ratings, one overall and one per attribute, are built from scores.

11.What Future Pro Scout is not

We would rather be clear about the edges of this product than let anyone read more into a number than it holds.

The service is not:

  • live coaching, and it does not correct technique while a player trains;
  • match analysis or tactical analysis: it measures drills, not games;
  • a medical, physiotherapy or fitness assessment, and not a screening tool;
  • a diagnosis, or a judgement that a player is fit, unfit, injured or recovered;
  • advice to train, to keep training, to stop training, or to change a training load;
  • a prediction that a player will turn professional, be scouted or be signed;
  • a comparison with professional players.

Nothing in the app is medical advice. A player who feels unwell, who is in pain, or who is injured should stop and see a doctor or a qualified health professional before recording again. Never use a result to decide whether an injury has healed.

Decisions about a player’s health, training load and selection belong to the people responsible for that player: their guardian, their coach, their academy and their medical advisers. We provide a measurement, not a decision.

12.Acceptable use

You agree not to do any of the following, in the app or against it.

  • Impersonate anyone, or create an account in another person’s name, including a child’s.
  • Share an account, sign in as someone else, or let another person record on your account.
  • Upload a video of another person as your own attempt.
  • Fake an attempt: edit or splice a recording, move a marker, shorten a distance, or otherwise try to deceive the measurement.
  • Harass, bully, threaten or abuse anyone: a player, a guardian, a coach, an academy or our staff.
  • Upload unlawful, hateful, violent or sexually explicit content, or any footage of a child that a reasonable parent would object to.
  • Scrape, copy or bulk-download videos, results, scores or profiles.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or probe the app or the measurement, or try to extract the models or the scoring behind it.
  • Interfere with the service: overload it, break its security, point an automated tool at it, or reach an account that is not yours.
  • Resell or republish another person’s results, or use what the app shows you to build a competing product or data set.
  • Use the app to find, follow, contact or collect data about other people’s children.

If you see any of this happening, report it to support@futureproscout.com. Reports that concern a minor are looked at first.

13.Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of what you put in: your videos, your profile, your measurements and your notes. Nothing here transfers that ownership to us.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, analyse and display that content for one purpose: running the service for you. Display means showing it to the people the app says can see it: the player, their guardian, their coach, their academy and our admins.

The limits on that licence are not negotiable:

  • we do not sell your content, and we do not licence it to anyone to use for their own purposes;
  • the providers who host, deliver and process it for us act on our instructions and for no purpose of their own;
  • we never use a minor’s content in marketing, advertising or a public showcase;
  • videos are private by default and are never made public by us;
  • the licence ends when the content is deleted, save for backup copies until they age out and anything the law requires us to keep.

You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, including the right to film everyone who appears in it. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

The app itself is ours: the Future Pro Scout name and logo, the interface, the drill library and its protocols, the scoring scale, the measurement engine and the material we wrote around them. You may use them through the app as these terms allow, and not otherwise. An academy’s own drill documents remain the academy’s.

If you send us a suggestion about the product, we may act on it freely and without owing you payment.

14.Subscriptions and payments

The app is free to start. A Pro subscription for players, and a subscription for academies, are bought inside the app.

Purchases go through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The store takes the payment and the store’s own terms govern the transaction, the billing and the receipt. We never see or hold your card details.

In practice:

  • a subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel it;
  • you cancel in your store account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for;
  • refunds are the store’s decision under the store’s policy, and we cannot issue one on the store’s behalf;
  • an academy’s 30-day trial is free, and to continue past it the academy subscribes in the app.

Apple and Google are not parties to these terms. They do not operate the service and they do not provide support for it, so a question about the app, a result or an account comes to us, not to them.

Campaigns are separate. Registration for a campaign may be paid in the app or at the event, and the campaign’s own registration terms say which applies.

We may change our prices, and we may change which features sit behind a paid plan. We will tell you before a change affects what you pay, and a change never applies to a period you have already been charged for.

15.Availability and changes to the service

This product is new and it will keep changing. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw a feature or a drill, and when security or safety demands it we may do so without notice.

Measurement capability expands over time. A drill a coach evaluates by hand today may be measured by the AI later, and a scoring scale may be revised. Where a change alters how a number is produced, the app says so rather than quietly restating an old result.

We aim to keep the service available and correct, and we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, a store outage, a network failure or a phone that will not record sit outside what we can promise, as does anything else beyond our reasonable control.

The app needs a supported phone with a working camera and an internet connection. The cost of that connection and of the data you upload is yours.

16.Suspension, termination and deletion

We may suspend or remove an account where:

  • these terms have been broken, and in particular where the acceptable-use rules have;
  • an attempt was faked, or another person’s video was uploaded as an attempt;
  • a guardian has withdrawn consent, or no guardian has approved the account of a player under 18;
  • an academy’s verification is refused or revoked, or its documents prove to be wrong;
  • the safety of a child on the platform requires it;
  • the law, or a competent authority, requires it.

Where it is practical we give notice and a chance to answer. Where a child’s safety is at stake we act first and explain afterwards.

You can delete your own account from inside the app at any time, and a guardian can ask us to delete a child’s account.

Deletion removes the account, its profile and its videos. The Privacy Policy sets out the timing, what happens to backups, and the narrow categories we are required by law to keep.

17.Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. It is where the detail lives, and it is worth reading in full before a child records anything.

Among other things, it explains:

  • what a guardian’s consent covers, how it is recorded with a timestamp, and how it is withdrawn;
  • who can see a player’s videos and results, and that they are private by default and never public;
  • that data, files and backups are hosted inside Saudi Arabia, under the PDPL and SDAIA’s rules for children’s data;
  • that we do not profile a minor and do not market on the basis of a minor’s data;
  • how a guardian exports a child’s data, or has it deleted.

Questions about data go to privacy@futureproscout.com.

18.Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as it is and as it is available. Beyond what these terms promise and what the law requires of us, we make no warranty about the app, its results, or its fitness for a particular purpose.

A measurement taken from a phone video is an estimate. It carries the margin of error the app shows beside it, and it should be read with that figure and not without it.

We are not responsible for what anyone decides on the strength of a result. Selection, training load, a trial, a contract or a place in a squad are decisions for the academy, the coach and the guardian.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost opportunity, or for a place in a team not offered or withdrawn; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for your subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, liability for fraud, or a consumer’s statutory rights under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

19.Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of the service, are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Please write to us before anything formal begins. Most problems turn out to be a question about a result, an account or a subscription, and most are settled in a few messages to support@futureproscout.com.

If a matter cannot be settled that way, the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have jurisdiction. Nothing here removes a right you have under consumer protection law to bring a claim where you live.

These terms are published in Arabic and in English. If the two versions ever differ, the Arabic version applies.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a term on one occasion is not a waiver of it.

You may not transfer your account to another person. We may transfer these terms as part of a reorganisation or a sale of the business, and we will tell you in the app if we do.

20.Changes to these terms, and how to reach us

We update these terms when the product changes or when the law does. The date at the top of this page always says when they last changed.

For a material change, meaning one that affects what you pay, what we may do with your content, or a guardian’s rights, we give notice in the app before it takes effect, and where the change concerns a player under 18 we notify the guardian as well. Using the app after that date means you accept the new version.

If you do not accept a change, stop using the app and delete your account. An academy that does not accept a change can cancel its subscription through the store.
